William Swenson Jr. and Jennel Yelito, together with their families, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David Yelito of Coaldale and Diane and Terry Miller of Nesquehoning. A graduate of Moravian College, she holds two master's degrees in education from Wilkes University.She is employed by the Tamaqua Area School District, as a sixth-grade reading teacher and as head girls tennis coach.Her fiance is the son of Maria and William Swenson of East Stroudsburg. He graduated from DeSales University with a degree in business management.He is employed as a sales consultant at Cintas Corporation in Emmaus.A June 2015 wedding is being planned.
