The snow is melting and we're

getting glimpses of spring. Above, a budding hyacinth rises from the ground in one of the Carbon County Environmental Education Center's flower beds.

Even though cardinals (left) and blue jays (middle) are here during the

winter, they seem to be chirping justa bit louder these days.

There's a chance of showers

Saturday, and Sunday will be sunny with a high near 41.

Snow is in the forecast for Tuesday, but we're in the home stretch to a season with nicer temperatures.
