Older and bolder

The Salvation Army's Older and Bolder group will spring back into action on March 19, marking the beginning of the popular program's sixth year. Since its beginning in 2009, as a way for seniors to get together and discuss important topics, the program has grown and spun off additional programs, such as the Bell Choir, the Needlebugs Quilting group and Exerette gentle exercise.The regular Wednesday meetings are held from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Salvation Army, 105 W. Broad St., and include a light luncheon. The first meeting of the year will have an Irish/Green theme.
