A free, six-week parenting class will begin Thursday in Tamaqua.
"Caring Corners," a program designed by psychologist Dr. Kevin Lehman, will be held at the South Ward Community Center on each of the next six Thursdays.
Sessions will begin at 7 p.m.
Using Dr. Lehman's best selling book "Have a New Kid By Friday," leaders will provide tips on changing children's attitudes, behavior and character. Parents will gain an understanding of why children act the way they do, how they may be encouraging bad behavior and ways to make changes.
