1-2 inches of snow; wind chills below zero

The big storm will miss us, according to the National Weather Service, but we can expect wind chill values around 15 below zero Monday night.

The forecast for the week:

 

Monday: A chance of snow, mainly before 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 20. North wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 0. Wind chill values as low as -9. North wind 7 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -8. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Calm wind.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7.

Thursday: A chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21

 Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 42.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37.
