As word reached the streets Sunday about the tragic death of Andreas area resident Jason "Jay" Hahn, friends took to Facebook to express their shock and grief.

Michael Houser: "Don't ever let your dreams run dry because you never know when it's your turn to fly high. God bless you and your family."

Ash L. Bauder: "I cant believe you're gone ... it's crazy and so heartbreaking ... I have so many childhood memories I'll carry with me forever ... you're on to a better place now and will be forever remembered ... still to this day when I say your name I call you Jay Jay the jet plane ... rest easy, you'll forever be in our hearts."

Tiffany Hauck: "I can't even wrap my mind around the fact that you are truly gone. You were always there for me, stayed up with me on nights I couldn't sleep even though you were dead tired ... it's not fair that you were taken so soon."

Maria Yesavage: "You were a great friend to my son and one of my "sons." You will be greatly missed!"

Christina Carlino: "After graduation we went our separate ways which I'm so sorry for, but I always got a friendly greeting from you on my travels up Hazle street. I used to always think of it as your 'stoop.' I'm truly going to miss that. It's a cruel world we live in and I'll never understand why things happen the way they do."

Sierra Hornbeck: "Prayers sent. Gone but never forgotten! Rest easy buddy!"

Jess Moyer: "Rest easy Jay. When I heard, it blew my mind. You were a good dude. Fly high."

Michelle Anne Kunkel-Hartranft: "I will never understand this world."
