Man arrested after Chestnuthill chase on dirt bike

Alex Edwin Christman, 20, of Lansdale was arrested earlier this week after eluding police who had attempted to stop him for several traffic violations.
According to state police at Lehighton, at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, police made an attempt to stop Christman, who was driving a 2007 YZF450 dirt bike traveling on Route 209 in the area of Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township.

Christman continued north on Route 209, passing vehicles on the right-hand side. He then drove through the Monroe Plaza and then continued back onto Route 209 South, passing vehicles on the left and right side, before making a right turn onto Route 715 North.

He eventually surrendered and was arrested and will be charged with fleeing and eluding, as well as several summary offenses.
