Emergency crews are searching in Summit Hill for a 10-year-old mentally challenged girl who is missing from her foster home. Crews have been searching since shortly after 11 a.m. The girl, Brandi Barbera, left her home after arguing with another foster child. She is petite with light brown hair, is wearing a purple shirt, orange shorts and black and white sneakers. She is described as combative, and kicks and bites. She has been living in the area for only about three weeks. On scene are Summit Hill and Lansford police, as well as Carbon County Emergency Management and Northeast Search and Rescue. We'll update as details become available.
