St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., will hold its monthly youth activity Saturday at 2 p.m. with a magic show presented by Dave Wargo. All are invited.
Souper Bowl Sunday to benefit the Summit Hill food pantry will be held Feb. 2. A special free will offering will be taken for the pantry.
The Worship & Music committee meeting will be held immediately following the worship service on Sunday, Feb. 9. Church council will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
On Sunday, Feb. 23, the congregational meeting will be held immediately following the worship service. All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting.
Vicar David Lembo will be conducting communion classes in the near future. Should anyone be interested in attending, contact Tom Vermillion at 570-645-2591 or the vicar at 267-336-4621 to sign up or for more information.
Confirmation classes will be starting soon for junior high age children. To register, please call the vicar or Vermillion at the aforementioned numbers.

Sunday school classes are held each week at 9 a.m.
Worship services are held at 10:30 a.m. with Vicar Lembo presiding.
The Summit Hill Water Authority wishes to thank residents for their patience during the recent water main break in town and apologizes for any inconvenience it may have caused.
Free haircuts for kids are back at Meed's Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.
Adults are welcome for a small donation.
The next meeting of the Nesquehoning Conservation Club will take place at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Maple Shade Meadows.
A committee for the Spring Fishing Derby will be formed at this time.
All members are urged to attend.
