Carbon tavern cited by PLCB

A Carbon County tavern has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the liquor code.

Miner's Pub Inc., of 533 E. Patterson St., Lansford, was cited for the licensed premises was not a bona fide restaurant in that the premises maintained insufficient food items.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
