Matt Davis, a former assistant coach for several years at Panther Valley, has been named head varsity football coach.
Davis, a seventh grade math teacher at Panther Valley Middle School, was given a two-year contract Thursday night by the school board.He will receive a $4,100 salary in his first year.Davis succeeds Lon Hazlet, who has been the head coach for the past three years.The board also rehired Kristin Black as track coach, John Cooper as baseball coach, and James Hull as softball coach.
