The athletic department of the Tamaqua Area School District has formed a Tamaqua Area Athletic Alumni Association, thanks to the large amount of interest expressed at a reorganizational meeting held earlier this month. The newly formed group's second meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in room 108 of the Tamaqua Senior High School and will focus on by-laws, social activities and fundraising.
