An Easton Area School District teacher, who resides in Palmerton, was located late Tuesday evening after she went missing a day earlier.

Palmerton Police found Dana Morgan-Buck, 36, at around 10:53 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue, according to borough police Chief Randy Smith.

"She was found here in the borough, and taken to Palmerton Hospital for examination," Smith said. "She's fine as far as I know, according to the report."

Smith said Morgan-Buck was located by police as they were "going through the area and found her."

He added that she was reported missing yesterday by her boyfriend, Jeff George.

Morgan-Buck reportedly had last been seen leaving her parents' home in Palmerton at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

She works as a fifth- and sixth-grade special education teacher in the Easton Area School District.

Police entered Morgan-Buck's name in the National Criminal Information Center database after she failed to show up for work Tuesday.
