Arrested for violating PFA order

Published January 15. 2014 05:00PM

A New Ringgold man was arrested by Tamaqua police on Dec. 21 for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

At 9:46 p.m. Patrolman Joseph Krebs responded to a call at 412 E. Elm St. The caller reported that Brad Charles Comisac, 35, of 107 Lumber Lane, was outside, pounding on the front door, attempting to get inside.

At the home the officer spoke with the residents, who stated there was an active PFA order banning Comisac from any contact with them.

Comisac was arrested. A pat down search found a clear white bag with a white crystal substance in his wallet. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Charges of indirect criminal contempt of court (PFA violation), and possession of a controlled substance were filed against Comisac. He was placed in the Schuylkill County prison, Pottsville, in lieu of $10,000 percentage bail.
