Rush Township police are preparing to file charges against Katherine R. White, 39, of Lansford, in connection with shoplifting incidents at the Hometown Commons Walmart.

The first incident reportedly happened at 6:50 p.m. on Dec. 21 when White allegedly stole merchandise valued at $124.81. On Jan. 4 White returned to the retail store and took merchandise valued at $252.66.She will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property for both incidents.
