Michelle P. Baker Oncay, 47, Palmerton, was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6 a.m. Dec. 3 at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said she was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, in the Palmerton Ambulance for what police said were moderate injuries.

Police said she was driving a 1999 Dodge Neon that failed to yield the right of way to a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by John G. Guy, 25, Walnutport, causing the crash. The latter driver, who was uninjured, was turning left onto Delaware Avenue from Little Gap Road at the time.

Police said Baker Oncay will be cited for having caused the mishap.
