A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 11:41 p.m. on Friday, March 21, along SR61 in Port Clinton borough.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Amber M. Ebert, 25, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2008 Suzuki SX4 northbound in the left passing lane. She then traveled back into the right lane and continued through the lane onto the berm where the right side of her vehicle struck an embankment.After impact the vehicle traveled back into the right lane and flipped over several times before coming to rest on its wheels facing northwest in the right lane.Ebert sustained a moderate injury and was flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. The northbound lanes were closed for about an hour.Troopers said Ebert is facing a DUI charge, pending blood test results. She has been cited for careless driving, troopers added.
