Published January 06. 2014 05:00PM

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 24 at the intersection of Station and Margaret streets in Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Brian Amill, 44, of Allentown, told them he would visit a hospital to be examined for injuries he sustained in the crash.

The accident happened when Tyler T. Hahn, 20, Palmerton, was westbound on Stagecoach Road in a 2006 GMC Sierra and approaching Margaret Street when the vehicle slid out of control due to the roadway being covered with snow and ice. Police said the vehicle slid into a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Amill, causing the latter vehicle to slide off the roadway.

Police said the Pathfinder was towed from the scene.
