The monthly meeting of the Ranger Rick Club will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center. The club meets on the first Saturday of each month and is open to all students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Meetings generally last 1 1/2 hours.

Each month's meeting focuses on some aspect of the natural world. This month's topic, "The Five Senses," will include age-appropriate activities to help children engage all senses in scientific investigation.

The program is free for CCEEC members and a nominal donation is requested of non-members.

For more information or to register, call 570-645-8597.

CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside Jim Thorpe, along Lentz Trail.
