Carbon County Art League will hold its Spring Art Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9, at the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 397 Hemlock Drive, Lehighton.

Admission is free. Everyone is invited to cast a vote for their favorite artwork.

Membership to the art league is open to all artists and those who appreciate the arts, 18 years or older.

The mission of the Carbon County Art League is to support and nurture working visual artists, as well as to promote the appreciation of these arts, art education and historical value of these arts in the community.

Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month, March through December, at the Penn Kidder Senior Center, Bear Creek Plaza, Route 903 and Behrens Road, Jim Thorpe.
