State police at Frackville reported a second arrest has been made in a theft incident that occurred in a wooded area north of Darkwater Road in New Castle Township, on the property of Reading Anthracite Company, of Pottsville.

Troopers previously reported on Feb. 28, about 9-9:30 a.m. the arrest of Jonathan James Kintzel, 31, of Pottsville. He was found at the above-stated location with another male, with a fire built and burning plastic off copper pieces of wiring.

Kintzel's truck was also found on the property and located inside was a firearm. A check revealed Kintzel was prohibited from having a firearm in his possession.

He was arrested and placed in the county prison after failing to post bail on charges of criminal trespass and person not to possess a firearm.

Troopers have now identified the second male at the scene as David S. Bush, 30, of Pottsville. A charge of receiving stolen property has been filed against Bush with District Judge David A. Plachko, of Port Carbon. Troopers said he will have to answer the charges before the DJ.
