Two arrested after domestic incident

Two people were arrested following a domestic incident that occurred at 211 Winky Lane, in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, about 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.

State police at Lehighton responded to that address for a boyfriend-girlfriend dispute.

Troopers said Walter David Vanscoten Jr., 45, of Hillsboro, Tenn., and Jenneen J. Miller, 47, of Bloomsbury, N.J., got into a verbal/physical argument which resulted in minor injuries requiring EMS treatment and hospitalization, troopers said.

As a result both individuals were charged with one count each of simple assault and harassment.
