A Carbon County man, who was charged in connection with a window-smashing spree at the Lansford police station last March, entered guilty pleas in county court Monday.

Carol Stevens Jr., 34, of Nesquehoning, pleaded to one count each of institutional vandalism and persistent disorderly conduct for the incidents at the police station.

He was charged later the same day with aggravated assault and related offenses for incidents at the office of District Justice Casimir Kosciolek, where he was taken to be arraigned.

The pleas were entered before Judge Steven R. Serfass today. The judge immediately sentenced him to serve 18 to 36 months in a state prison.
