Police investigating Lansford shooting
Police are investigating the shooting of two people in a home at 439 W. Patterson Street in Lansford.
Jack Soberick, detective with the Lansford Police Department, said a man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds Saturday evening. Police were dispatched to the home and the victims were transported to St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale, with at least one of them flown to a trauma center.
The victims are possibly in their 30s, Soberick said.
Soberick said police have no clue what happened.
The incident was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. at the home is located across from the Lansford football stadium.
Four children were in the house at the time. Their ages were not immediately available.
No arrests have been made, police said.
Coaldale, Nesquehoning and Summit Hill police departments were also on scene with Lansford.
Police are not releasing any other information at this time.
