Theft of truckbeing probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a truck that was stolen in Schuylkill County. The incident occurred about 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Second and Chestnut streets in Cressona.

Troopers said Michael Tipping, 24, of Cressona, was carrying items into his apartment and he left his 1996 red Ford F150 pickup truck running. When he went inside the apartment, an unknown criminal took the truck going southbound on Route 183.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
