Woman strikes police car, is charged with DUI

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A woman was arrested for drunk driving after she crashed into a transit police vehicle in Philadelphia. TV station KYW ( ) reports that the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority vehicle was struck at about 3 a.m. Saturday after the officer responded to a call. The officer was treated for minor injuries at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Police say the unidentified driver had a blood alcohol level of .149, twice the legal limit. She was also evaluated for minor injuries.
