Lansford Police are investigating a three-car crash that occurred last Thursday.

According to officer Chris Ondrus, Jason Seekins, 37, of 117 W. Ridge St., Coaldale, was driving a 2004 Subaru west on the 300 block of W. Abbott Street at at 10:38 p.m. Aug. 7 when he lost control and drove head on into a parked yellow 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.

The Cobalt was pushed onto a red 2007 Cobalt, both owned by Mike Rehatchek of Lansford.

Seekins told police he just had new tires installed and thought his alignment was off.

He performed field sobriety tests, which he failed, and was taken for a blood test for suspicion of DUI.

Seekins admitted taking prescription pills earlier in the day, and a pill bottle was found at the scene.

Seekins faces numerous charges pending lab results.

All three cars were towed from the scene and American Fire Co. No. 1 cleaned up fluids that spilled from the cars.
