VIZIO Televisions recalled
VIZIO has issued a recall on approximately 245,000 39- and 42-Inch E-Series Flat Panel televisions after receiving 51 reports of televisions unexpectedly tipping over.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice, VIZIO has stated that the stand assembly can fail and cause the television to tip over, posing a risk of impact injury if anyone is near it at the time.
Models affected include Model No. E390-B0, Smart TV Model No. E390i-B0, and Smart TV Model No. E420i-B0 that were sold at Best Buy, Meijer, Target, Walmart and other retail stores nationwide; as well as online at Amazon.com, Costco.com, Meijer.com, Sams.com and other Internet retailers.
The affected televisions, which were sold between December 2013 and June 2014, are black with VIZIO printed in the lower corner of the television front and the VIZIO logo in the center of the back.

Consumers who have an affected model should immediately detach the stand if it is being used, place the television in a safe location and contact VIZIO for a replacement stand assembly.
Consumers with wall-mounted televisions should request the replacement stand assembly in case the stand is needed for future use.
