Two burglaries in Summit Hill

Published September 26. 2013 05:00PM

Summit Hill police are warning residents that two burglaries have been reported in the borough this week.

According to Police Chief Joseph Fittos, the burglaries appeared to have occurred in the daytime when most residents are at work.

The first occurred at a residence in the 200 block of West Fell Street on Monday, Sept. 23, and the second happened yesterday in the 100 block of East Fell Street.

Fittos said that no details on the burglaries could be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

He urges all residents to be on the lookout for anything suspicious at their neighbors' residences and not to hesitate calling 911 if they see something strange.

If you have any information regarding either of these burglaries, call the Summit Hill Police at (570) 645-7429.
