The developer of a mobile home park in West Penn Township is offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalism at the site, which now includes gunfire.

Developer James E. Saunders of Mohrsville, Berks County, told the TIMES NEWS that there have been several instances of damage by vandals over the past two weeks at the future West Penn Pines Mobile Home site, located on SR895 near Dorset.

An incident on Wednesday included discharge from a firearm, said Saunders.

State Police in Frackville said that none of the workers were hit, but shots damaged a CAT Vibrator Compactor at the site, causing approximately $2,800 worth of damage.
