Theft at adult book store probed

Published September 23. 2013 05:01PM

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a retail theft incident at a Schuylkill County store. Troopers said the incident occurred at the Adult Book Store, located in North Manheim Township, and was reported on Sept. 10 about 2:20 p.m.

Troopers said a customer found an empty product box which should have contained a Futurotic penis extender, empty. Store employees reviewed video surveillance from prior days and noticed a white male open the box, remove the item, place it in his pocket and put the empty box back on the shelf. He then exited the store without paying for the item, valued at $14.99.

The suspect was described as being in his early 20s, dark brown hair, about five-feet, 10-inches tall, and average build.
