Locust Lake hike set

Naturalist Robin Tracey will lead a hike on the Oak Loop trail at Locust Lake on Thursday, Sept. 19. The trail is 4 miles in length and difficult.

The trail loops around Locust Creek and transverses up the mountain for a great view of the forest below.

Park of the hike includes the "tree identification trail" created by an Eagle Scout.

Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Meet at the visitor parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Bring water, bug spray and comfortable shoes.
