Mollie Eskin, originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., recently celebrated her 103rd birthday. A resident of Brookmont in Effort for the past five years, she was born on Aug. 10, 1910.

She wed Murray Eskin on Jan. 18, 1930. They had two daughters and two granddaughters, and now are blessed with six great-grandchildren.Mollie has always been a very elegant woman and continues to wear fine clothes. She says she misses the days when she was able to throw lavish dinner parties.
