Two residents of the Youth Services' Camp Adams, in Penn Forest Township, have been charged with counts related to the theft of a vehicle.

Jim Thorpe police said Robert Jay Teufel, of Philadelphia, reported his 2013 Ford Focus was stolen from the Carbon County Career Technical Institute, located at 150 W. 13th St., on Monday, July 15.

Through an investigation police charged a 15-year-old male from Harrisburg and a 17-year-old male from Lancaster, both residents of the youth camp, with taking the vehicle. The keys to the vehicle were left on a desk in the center. The vehicle was later located in Lancaster.

The two teens were charged with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and misdemeanor counts of unauthorized used of an automobile, and escape.
