October 29, 1960 Jimmy "Webb" Borosh carries 18 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns to help Jim Thorpe register a 34-12 win over Summit Hill. Borosh reaches the end zone on scampers of 22 and nine yards and also tosses a nine-yard scoring pass to George Weiksner. The Olympians, coached by Angie Konstas, receive 87 rushing yards and a two-yard TD from Frank Hydro while Billy Yanette contributes a 14-yard scoring run. Thorpe finishes the contest with 317 yards on the ground.
