The Carbon County Navy Club recently took part in two celebrations.

On Sept. 28, the Carbon County Veterans dinner was held at the American Legion Post Hall in Lehighton. Robert "Ski" Siesputowski received one award from Navy Club commander Scott Reinhart.

On Oct. 9, the Navy Club held a birthday service at St. John Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford. At the service, Reinhart presented a check for $200 to the Rev. Marjorie Keiter for the Panther Valley Food Bank.
