Tamaqua police are investigating the theft of cash from the Stosh and Stan Pool Hall, 117 W. Broad St.

The incident reportedly took place sometime between the time of closing on Oct. 3 and opening on Oct. 4. There was no sign of a forced entry but a window was found open. Management felt someone in the pool hall on Oct. 3 opened the window and returned after closing, taking approximately $60 from the register.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-668-5000.
