It's going to be a busy week for Halloween parades.

Six are scheduled in the immediate area over the next eight days, including three this weekend.Today, a five-division parade is held in Lehighton beginning at 4 p.m. This is the 43rd year for the parade.Tomorrow, parades are scheduled for Eldred Township in Monroe County at 1 p.m. and in Palmerton at 4 p.m.The list of upcoming parades is as follows:• Today - Lehighton Area Halloween Parade, 4 p.m.• Sunday - Eldred Township Halloween Parade, 1 p.m.• Sunday - Palmerton Halloween Parade, 4 p.m.• Tuesday, Oct. 22 - Tamaqua Halloween Parade, 7 p.m.• Saturday, Oct. 26 - Northern Lehigh Halloween Parade, 6:30 p.m.• Sunday, Oct. 27 - Jim Thorpe Halloween Parade, 4 p.m.
