The Carbon County Labor Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Democratic Information Center at 110 South 1st St., Lehighton.

The meeting will be focused on planned community projects.The chapter has made contributions to food banks in Carbon County and has made clean up of the Civil War era cemetery in Weissport a long-term project.This meeting will be adjourned in honor of Perry Shelton, former Teamster and one of the founders of the Labor Chapter.For more information, call President Terry Whiteman at (610) 379-0162.
