Police destroy marijuana plants

State police at Fogelsville said nine marijuana plants that were located on a parcel of land in the area of Route 100 and Bittner's Corner Road, Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, were destroyed earlier this month.

Police said the plants were discovered at 11 a.m. Oct. 9. Police do not have any information regarding the identity of the people responsible for planting the marijuana.
