Donation to Carbon Animal Shelter

Representatives from the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club present a $1,000 check to Carbon County Board of Commissioners for the operations of the Carbon County Animal Shelter. The money from the club is raised through various fundraising efforts including breakfasts, dinners and block shoots. Representatives during the check presentation are, from left, Commissioner Thomas J. Gerhard; Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club trustees Del Swartz and Lee Techentin; and Commissioners Wayne Nothstein, chairman; and William O'Gurek.
