October 8, 1964 George Mann scores three touchdowns, one on the ground and two through the air, to help Jim Thorpe gain a 27-6 win over Cass Township. Mann finishes the contest with 115 yards and a TD on 14 carries. His scoring run comes from eight yards out. Mann snares a pair of TD passes (from 10 and seven yards) from quarterback Bob Hoder. The Olympians, coached by Angie Konstats, also receive 91 yards rushing and a touchdown from Billy Dart.
