Benefit held in Tamaqua for a volunteer

Fellow volunteers, family and friends came together Saturday night at the Tamaqua Italian Club in support of member James "Jimmy" Bachert during a benefit held for him. Bachert, a longtime volunteer of the club, fainted during a past charity event at the club. Family members at the event stated it was caused by bleeding in the head. For more ways to help Bachert, who has accruded a large amount of medical expenses, call the Tamaqua Italian Club at (570) 668-1168.
