St. Luke's Cares for Kids 5K and Kids Fun Run

St. Luke's Miners Cares for Kids 5K & Kids Fun is being held tomorrow in support of St. Luke's Miners Community Health Initiatives.

The race will be held at the Lansford Pool with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K race starting at 9 a.m. A Kid's 1-Mile Fun Run will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Proceeds from this event will support St. Luke's Miners Community Health efforts to keep our community healthy and safe with programs including Health Star Vision & Dental Vans, Reading Rocks, Healthy Homes, Live Your Life and Diabetes Education. Organizers are asking anyone to support this event by running, walking, sponsoring or volunteering. You can register at or the day of the event. If you are interested in volunteering - before, during or after the event - please contact Michelle Bowman or JP Evans. SLUHN employee volunteers and race participants will receive a "Team St. Luke's t-shirt."
