Carbon business cited by PLCB

A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Green Isle Enterprise Inc., trading as Second Time Around, 161 S. First St., Lehighton, was cited for on July 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and Aug. 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7, with possessing or operating gambling devices or parphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, poolselling and/or bookmaking on the licensed premises.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
