Tamaqua Patrolman Tom Rodgers assists Duane Roy Allen, 25, of 118 N. Railroad St., from the police cruiser after Allen was caught this morning going through vehicles in the Lafayette/Catawissa Street area of the borough. Police were dispatched to the area after a resident called around 4 a.m. to report suspicious activity. Allen was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation and was lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville. Police ask anyone who may be missing items from their vehicles, no matter how small the item, to contact them at 570-668-5000.
