The Chestnuthill Township recycling center wants it noted that it does not accept treated lumber, painted and stained wood items and flake board to be ground up for the compost pile. The guidelines were incorrect in an article on Nov. 15.

Chestnuthill Township manager David Albright said these items are not recycled but can be placed in a resident's regular waste for disposal.
