A Carbon County driver was involved in a crash in Lehigh County hit-an-run.

State police at Fogelsville said Sharon K. Persaud, 31, of Nesquehoning was stopped along Route 22 West at Tilghman Street, in South Whitehall Township, at 6:16 a.m. on March 6 when the driver in front of her started to back up.

The back of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata hit the front of Persaud’s 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. After impact the other driver fled the scene.

Persaud was not injured and her vehicle was driven from the scene.
