Theft from vehicle incident probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a theft from vehicle incident.

Troopers said the parked 2006 Freightliner truck, owned by Michael Todd, 41, of Pottsville, was entered when unknown criminals pushed out a small window on the passenger side of the cab. Removed was a Kenwood stereo and a CB radio. The truck was parked at 1456 SR61S, in North Manheim Township.

The theft occurred sometime between Nov. 15 and 17.

Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident. Troopers said unknown criminals punctured the two passenger side tires and front driver's side tire on a Mercury Mystique while parked at 540 W. Bacon St., Palo Alto. The car is owned by Jaime Nothstein, 38, of Pottsville.

The incident occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.
