Defendants charged with various criminal counts were arraigned Monday morning at the Schuylkill County Courthouse before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon, including several area residents. They were:

Dana L. Hunsinger, Weatherly, charged by McAdoo Patrolman William C. Curilla, with DUI of alcohol, operating a vehicle without an official inspection certificate, and failing to obey traffic control devices.Kyle Collins, 22, Shenandoah, charged by West Mahanoy Township Patrolman Lance Monaghan, with DUI of alcohol, careless driving, and failing to drive at safe speed.Trace M. Miller, 17, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger, with DUI of alcohol, underage drinking, and careless driving.Shane M. Stapleton, 36, Perkasie, charged by West Penn Township Chief Brian J. Johnson, with driving while license suspended, and speeding by traveling 57 miles-per-hour in a 45 zone on West Penn Pike Road.Thomas Samuel Zimmerman, Mahanoy Plane, Gilberton, charged by Trooper Michael Becker with DUI of alcohol, driving while license suspended, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, involved in accident by striking a concrete drainage on High Road in Gilberton, and driving without an official inspection certificate.
